Website development for businesses

We develop new websites and rebuild existing ones. We design them to match your brand, write the content and set numerical quality requirements in the contract.

You make the final payment when the website meets the quality thresholds. We quote a fixed price in a written proposal before the contract is signed.

Which website suits your needs

It depends on two numbers: how many pages and how many templates — distinct layouts, such as a news listing and an individual news article. The more there are, the more design work is needed. We’ll help you choose at a free consultation.

Four examples of website size: a single page, a small website, a website with sections and a large catalogue.
  1. Single-page website offering a robotic lawn mower.

    Single-page

    1 page with 6–8 sections, 1 template.

A step-by-step presentation of one service, product or event — from the opening screen to an enquiry.

  2. Veterinary clinic pages: appointments, about the clinic and contact details.

    Compact

Up to 6 pages and up to 3 templates.

A small company website: home, About us, services, contact details and news — everything visitors need to get to know you and get in touch.

  3. Freight transport website sections: services, warehouse, customs clearance and journal.

    Medium

Up to 14 pages and up to 9 templates.

Sections for several business areas or industries, each with its own design, and a blog for news and articles.

  4. Electric car catalogue pages.

    Large

15 or more pages, or 10 or more templates.

A catalogue, shop or library with many sections — we define the scope together when we review your requirements.

You add news items, articles and product listings yourself, as many as you need — they do not affect the size. The catalogue, cart, checkout and customer account, however, count as templates: we design these to match your brand too.

What the project includes

A design you can see in advance

Before development begins, we show you how everything will look on a computer and phone, and make two rounds of changes based on your feedback. Before handover, we check the website at 9 screen widths, from 360 to 2560 pixels, to ensure nothing extends beyond the edges and images are not cropped.

We write the content

We write it based on your answers: what your company does, who your customers are and what sets you apart. We make two rounds of revisions. If you already have the content, we lightly edit it — which lowers the price.

Search and AI assistants

We configure the technical setup so that Google and other systems can read the content correctly. We also check access for AI assistants so they can find and summarise information about your company.

Utility pages — free of charge

The 404 error page, search results and enquiry confirmation page are included in every project and do not affect its size. We also publish the privacy policy and other legal texts prepared by you or your lawyer, using the same visual style.

Launch and guidance on updates

We publish the website when you decide. If it has an admin panel, we show you how to change text, photos and contact details.

The first year of support is on us

For WordPress and WooCommerce projects, after launch we install updates to our theme and plugins and answer questions in a dedicated channel. Each month, you receive 50 reply messages from us about using the admin panel and documentation. Support can then be extended.

What your website will run on

We’ll choose a platform to suit your needs — you do not need technical knowledge beforehand.

Platform Your needs Content updates
WordPress Present your company, services and products without selling online. You update the content yourself in the admin panel.
WooCommerce Sell products and accept orders online. You manage your catalogue and sales in the same WordPress admin panel.
Shopware Run a shop with separate storefronts for different countries or wholesale customers. You manage them from a single Shopware admin panel.
No CMS Launch a landing page or a simple business website that is rarely updated. There is no admin panel: we change text and photos at your request.
Strapi Display the same content on your website, in a mobile app and on other screens. You update text and photos in one place — Strapi.

If you need several websites — for different brands or regions — we build a network using WordPress Multisite: you manage them all from one admin panel, while each has its own address and content.

Quality you can verify

We assess the result using numbers rather than impressions: the contract sets thresholds for speed, security, technical standards, search readiness and accessibility — ease of use for people with visual impairments and those who use only a keyboard.

Before handover, we test one page from each template on our acceptance server and provide a report with the tool, date and result of each measurement. You can repeat the tests yourself for free, and after launch we check the scores again — this time on your hosting.

If a threshold is not met for a reason within our responsibility, we spend 10 working days making corrections free of charge. You then accept the website at 80% of the total project price, unless you have extended this period in writing.

How acceptance works

Contractual thresholds

Speed How quickly the page loads and responds on a phone, as measured by Google Lighthouse. 90 or above
Accessibility Ease of use for people with visual impairments and those who use only a keyboard. 90 or above
Standards Whether the page meets browsers’ technical requirements, as assessed by Lighthouse. 90 or above
Search How ready the page is for search, as assessed by Lighthouse: whether it has a title and description, and whether search crawlers can access it. 90 or above
Security How browser-side security is configured, on the MDN HTTP Observatory scale from F to A+. A or A+
Errors found by axe How many errors the automated axe accessibility check finds at phone and large-screen widths. 0

Your website stays in your hands

The domain and hosting will be registered in your name. We’ll select the plan and set everything up on it.

We give you the primary administrator access, the theme’s source code and everything needed to build it. If there is no admin panel, you receive the finished files. You do not depend on anyone.

After the final payment, everything created specifically for you — design, text and settings — belongs to you. You can use the foundation we build all our projects on with no time limit.

Even the Weberloom support account, protected by two-factor authentication, stays in place only with your permission.

Additions to suit your needs

Every project includes one language, and more than a hundred others can be added.

We agree on who will translate — us or you — before the contract is signed.

We quote separately for integrations with other services, a custom booking or payment system, photography and filming, branding and 3D.

We quote the cost of transferring content from your old website after reviewing the requirements.

You pay directly for the domain, hosting, third-party services and licences.

You receive a list of these before the contract is signed so you can see all the costs.

Frequently asked questions

How much will my website cost?

The price depends on the project’s size and any additions. In the written proposal, it is fixed for the listed scope of work. If a new task comes up, you will see its price first and decide for yourself.

How are payments split?

If the development cost is no more than €5,000, you pay 50% on signing, before work begins, and 50% after acceptance against the quality thresholds, before launch. For a more expensive project, you pay 20% when the contract is signed, 30% after you approve the design in writing, 30% after you confirm the completed website on the staging site with its content, functionality and tested core user journeys, and 20% after acceptance against the quality thresholds, before launch.

When will everything be ready?

On average, we complete a single-page project in 3 working days, a compact one in 10 and a medium one in 20; we estimate the timeline for a large project individually. This is our working time, excluding pauses while we wait for your decisions; we specify the exact timeline in the proposal.

What happens to the old page addresses?

Where possible, we keep them unchanged and redirect the others to new addresses — to preserve search rankings.

Do I need to prepare for the consultation?

No, just get in touch. If you have a link to your current website, a catalogue, photos or a logo, send them over in reply to our email — they will help us understand your needs more quickly.

What does it mean to have the domain and hosting registered in my name?

The domain and hosting belong to you from day one, and you retain all access credentials. After the final payment, everything we have created specifically for you belongs to you too. You have full control over your website and do not depend on anyone: you decide how to develop it to meet your company’s needs. We select a suitable plan and handle the setup, while you pay for it directly.

Does the work include preparation for search?

Yes, in every project we configure the technical setup so that search engines can read the pages correctly. We also check that AI assistants can access and read them to summarise information about your company. We do not promise search rankings.

How do backups and restoration work for WordPress and WooCommerce?

At launch, we set up automatic backups on your hosting and perform a full test restoration. We provide you with the instructions. During the first year, we restore your site to working order free of charge if the failure was our fault. Ongoing monitoring and restoration for other reasons are included in Care — monthly WordPress maintenance.

Where can I ask questions without a subscription?

At support@weberloom.com, we always answer questions about using a website or store we built. We do so free of charge, with or without a subscription, including after it ends. These emails do not count towards the project channel quota. We do not promise a response time. The project channel and active paid support take priority. We provide estimates for new work in advance.
